25th Session of the hashtag#TIA Strategic Council
On Wednesday, September 9, 2026, Tunisia Investment Authority held the 25th session of its Strategic Council, chaired by Mr. Jalel Tebib.
The session focused on two key themes:
hashtag#Hungary’s Experience in Attracting Investment
The first session focused on the experience of the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (hashtag#HIPA), with presentations delivered by Mr. Marcell Németh, Deputy CEO, and Ms. Martina Almási, Partner Relations Manager at the CEO’s Office.
The exchange provided a valuable opportunity to share best practices and identify approaches that could contribute to strengthening Tunisia’s competitiveness and its capacity to attract high-value-added investment.
Critical Minerals: New Investment Opportunities for Tunisia
The second session featured the presentation of TIA’s third Strategic Analysis Note entitled: “Critical Minerals amid Global Geopolitical Shifts: What Investment Opportunities for Tunisia?”
The note examines the rapidly evolving global landscape of critical minerals and its implications for global value chains. The discussions underscored the importance of accelerating structural reforms, enhancing the attractiveness of the legislative and regulatory framework, and strengthening Tunisia’s ability to capitalize on global shifts in critical minerals markets.
Through its Strategic Council, the Tunisia Investment Authority continues to promote dialogue between the public and private sectors, draw on international experiences, and anticipate emerging investment opportunities contributing to strengthening Tunisia’s investment attractiveness and enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy.
