Tunis – September 8, 2025 – The Tunisia Investment Authority (TIA) announces the inauguration of Jieyi Automotive Technology’s Tunisian branch, a subsidiary of Jieyi Automotive Technology SUARL (China), on Monday, September 8, 2025.
The establishment of Jieyi Automotive Technology in Tunisia represents a step forward in economic cooperation between Tunisia and China and highlights investor interest in the country’s industrial sectors.
From the outset, TIA worked closely with national stakeholders to support Jieyi Automotive Technology’s investment process. This included regulatory guidance, business registration, site selection, and operational planning, ensuring alignment with project's timeline.
The project, finalized within one year, was made possible thanks to the joint mobilization of all stakeholders and strong collaboration between public and private partners. It is expected to generate over 600 jobs in the automotive components sector, contributing to:
TIA will continue to provide aftercare services through advisory support, facilitation of local partnerships, and assistance with operational needs.
