Marquardt Automotive Tunisie renforce sa présence en #Tunisie et développe une nouvelle unité de production de composants électroniques pour l’automobile
L’équipe de la Tunisia Investment Authority (#TIA) a eu l'honneur d'assister à l'inauguration du nouveau site de production de Marquardt Automotive Tunisie à la zone industrielle Neopark El Fajja.
Cet évènement a été marqué par la présence de M. Samir Abdelhafidh, Ministre de l’Économie et de la Planification, M.
Mahmoud Chouaib, Gouverneur de La Manouba, et Mme S. Massent-Ktupke, Cheffe de Mission Adjointe de l’Ambassade d’Allemagne en Tunisie.
Reconnue comme l'une des entreprises pionnières dans la fabrication de composants automobiles, Marquardt Automotive Tunisie s’est implantée en Tunisie depuis 2014 à El Agba sur un site de 3,5 hectares, employant plus de 2.000 personnes.
Aujourd’hui, la société renforce encore sa présence avec un nouveau site de production de 33.000 m² au technopole d’El Fejja.
Ce projet stratégique, représentant un investissement de plus de 200 millions de dinars, permettra la création de 1.500 nouveaux postes d'emploi et la production de composants électroniques, de commutateurs et de capteurs de haute précision pour l'industrie automobile.
Ce projet s’inscrit pleinement dans l’élan de croissance que connaît l’industrie automobile en Tunisie. En élargissant ses capacités de production et en intégrant des technologies de pointe, Marquardt Automotive Tunisie joue un rôle clé non seulement dans le développement de ce secteur, mais aussi dans sa montée en gamme, en produisant des composants à forte valeur ajoutée.
Ce positionnement renforce la Tunisie comme un hub régional pour la production de composants électroniques de haute précision, capables de répondre aux exigences des plus grands donneurs d’ordre internationaux.

Grâce à l’accompagnement stratégique et au suivi rapproché de la Tunisia Investment Authority, ainsi qu’à l’engagement de tous les acteurs impliqués, l’implémentation du projet s’est déroulée avec une célérité inégalée.
Déclaré en novembre 2022, le nouveau site a déjà démarré la production de certains produits en mai 2024.

Marquardt Automotive Tunisia Strengthens Its Presence in #Tunisia and Develops a New Production Unit for Electronic Components for the Automotive Industry
Tunisia Investment Authority (#TIA) had the honor of attending the inauguration ceremony of the new Marquardt Automotive Tunisia production site at the Neopark El Fajja industrial zone.
The event was marked by the presence of Mr. Samir Abdelhafidh, Minister of Economy and Planning, Mr. Mahmoud Chouaib, Governor of Manouba, and Ms. S. Massent-Ktupke, Deputy Head of Mission at the German Embassy in Tunisia.
Recognized as a pioneer in the automotive component manufacturing industry, Marquardt Automotive Tunisia has been established in Tunisia since 2014 in El Agba, on a 3.5-hectare site, employing more than 2,000 people.
Today, the company is further expanding with a new 33,000 m² production site at the El Fejja technopole. This strategic project, representing an investment of over 200 million dinars, will create 1,500 new jobs and focus on producing high-precision electronic components, switches, and sensors for the automotive industry.
This project fully aligns with the growth momentum of the automotive industry in Tunisia. By expanding its production capacity and integrating cutting-edge technologies, Marquardt Automotive Tunisia plays a key role not only in the sector’s development but also in its upgrading by producing high-value-added components.
This positioning strengthens Tunisia as a regional hub for the production of high-precision electronic components, meeting the demands of leading global automotive manufacturers.

Thanks to the strategic support and close monitoring of the Tunisia Investment Authority, as well as the commitment of all stakeholders, the implementation of the project was carried out with unparalleled speed. Declared in November 2022, the new site launched the start of operation in May 2024.
This achievement highlights the effectiveness of investment facilitation efforts, ensuring the rapid transformation of opportunities into concrete projects that drive economic growth for Tunisia.
