TIA: A Key Partner in Driving Automotive Industry Growth in Tunisia

Mrs. Namia Ayadi, President of the Tunisia Investment Authority, participated in the inauguration ceremony of "Visteon Tunisia"’s new industrial unit in Borj Cedria, Soliman, on Friday 12th April 2024.

Completed in just 10 months by Tunisian talents, this unit marks a significant advancement in the country's automotive sector. With an investment of nearly $50 million, the project aims to enhance "Visteon Corporation's" expertise in manufacturing innovative automotive components.

The opening of this unit will enable the creation of over 400 additional jobs in 2024, with prospects of creating 1000 direct jobs and 3500 indirect jobs by 2028.

The American group, established in 1991, operates 14 production sites worldwide, with an operational capacity of around 10,000 jobs, and achieved a turnover of approximately $2.25 billion in 2023.

Madame Namia Ayadi, Présidente de l'Instance Tunisienne de l'Investissement, a pris part à la cérémonie d'inauguration de la nouvelle unité industrielle de "Visteon Tunisia" à Borj Cedria, Soliman, le vendredi 12 avril 2024.

Cette unité, réalisée en seulement 10 mois par des talents tunisiens, marque une avancée significative dans le secteur automobile du pays. Avec un investissement de près de 50 millions de dollars, le projet vise à renforcer l'expertise de "Visteon Corporation" dans la fabrication de composants automobiles innovants.

L'ouverture de cette unité permettra la création de plus de 400 emplois supplémentaires en 2024, avec des perspectives de création de 1000 emplois directs et de 3500 emplois indirects d'ici 2028.
