TIA: Highlighting the country's competitive advantages

Tunisia Investment Authority (TIA) had the honor of hosting a distinguished Saudi Arabian delegation, on Thursday, June 6, 2024, led by Mr. Mohammed Al Zamil, CEO of SABATCO, a leading Saudi company specializing in integrated transport solutions for railways, maritime, and land transportation. The delegation also included representatives from CRRC, a top Chinese railway company, and SALCEF, a prominent Italian railway construction firm.
The delegation met with Mrs. Namia Ayadi, President of the Tunisia Investment Authority, and the TIA team to explore investment opportunities and the business environment in Tunisia, particularly in the automotive, aerospace, maritime, and railways sectors. These industries are recognized as priority sectors due to their strategic significance and high potential for growth and employment.
During the meeting, the TIA team presented an overview of Tunisia's investment landscape, highlighting the country's competitive advantages, skilled talent pools, and the various incentives available to investors. The team also emphasized TIA's role in supporting Projects of National Interest (PNI), showcasing its commitment to facilitating strategic investments and fostering economic growth.

Tunisia Investment Authority (TIA) a eu l'honneur d'accueillir, jeudi 6 juin 2024, une délégation saoudienne de haut niveau dirigée par M. Mohammed Al Zamil, PDG de SABATCO, une entreprise saoudienne de premier plan spécialisée dans les solutions de transport intégrées pour les chemins de fer, le transport maritime et terrestre. La délégation comprenait également des représentants de CRRC, une entreprise ferroviaire chinoise renommée, et de SALCEF, une entreprise italienne éminente de construction ferroviaire.
La délégation a rencontré Madame Namia Ayadi, Présidente de la Tunisia Investment Authority, et l'équipe de la TIA pour explorer les opportunités d'investissement et l'environnement des affaires en Tunisie, notamment dans les secteurs de l'automobile, de l'aérospatiale, du maritime et du ferroviaire. Ces industries sont reconnues comme des secteurs prioritaires en raison de leur importance stratégique et de leur fort potentiel de croissance et d'emploi.
Au cours de la rencontre, l'équipe de la TIA a présenté un aperçu du paysage de l'investissement en Tunisie, en soulignant les avantages compétitifs du pays, les pools de talents qualifiés et les différentes incitations offertes aux investisseurs. L'équipe a également mis l'accent sur le rôle de la TIA dans le soutien aux Projets d'Intérêt National (PIN), démontrant ainsi son engagement à faciliter les investissements stratégiques et à stimuler la croissance économique.

استقبلت الهيئة التونسية للاستثمار، يوم الخميس 6 جوان 2024، وفدا سعوديا رفع المستوى برئاسة السيد محمد الزامل الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة ساباتكو (SABATCO)، وهي شركة سعودية رائدة متخصصة في حلول النقل المتكاملة لقطاعات السكك الحديدية والنقل البحري والبري. كما ضمّ الوفد ممثلين عن شركة CRRC، وهي شركة سكك حديدية صينية رائدة، وشركة SALCEF، وهي شركة إيطالية بارزة في مجال إنشاء السكك الحديدية.
والتقى الوفد بالسيدة نامية عيادي، رئيسة الهيئة التونسية للاستثمار، رفقة ثلة من إطارات الهيئة، لاستكشاف فرص الاستثمار ومناخ الأعمال في تونس، خاصة في قطاعات صناعة مكونات السيارات والطيران والبحرية والسكك الحديدية. وتعتبر هذه الصناعات كقطاعات ذات أولوية بسبب أهميتها الإستراتيجية و وقدرتها الكبيرة على النمو وخلق فرص العمل.
وخلال الاجتماع، قدمت الهيئة لمحة عامة عن مناخ الاستثمار في تونس، مع التركيز على المزايا التنافسية للبلاد وكفاءة الموارد البشرية المتاحة والحوافز المختلفة المقدمة للمستثمرين. وتم التطرق أيضًا إلى دور الهيئة التونسية للاستثمار في دعم المشاريع ذات الأهمية الوطنية، مما يعكس التزامها بتسهيل الاستثمارات الاستراتيجية وتعزيز النمو الاقتصادي.
